The stance is confrontational, calling into question the minister's competence and consistency with the prime minister's previous positions.

The criticism targets the Minister and the government, as the information they provided concerning prisoners' sentences is deemed unclear and contradictory. The opposition centers on the lack of transparency in policy implementation, demanding a clear mechanism by which Estonia can refuse to accept prisoners.

The main targets of criticism are the government as a whole, the Ministry of Climate, the Ministry of Education, and the Government Office. The criticism is primarily procedural and political, accusing the government of improperly formalizing decisions (Nursipalu), a lack of transparency (the Entrepreneurs' Council), and disregarding the public interest. Strongly in opposition to the governing coalition, criticizing the direction of their environmental policy and administrative reform ideas (the technical reduction in the number of officials). The criticism is aimed both at political incompetence and the philosophical notion that public authority should operate like a business enterprise. They warn that the government’s plans concerning the Environmental Board will only bring trouble to people and businesses.

The opposing stance is primarily aimed at irresponsible dog owners who fail to understand animal needs or social norms, and the goal is to remove their cover. During the debate on the Hunting Act, he/she relayed the Ministry of Climate’s opposition to the draft legislation, which highlighted the inadequate implementation of preventative measures and the danger of abusing public trust. He/she is also critical of the vague terminology (e.g., "nuisance specimen," "game animal") used in Draft Bill 567, arguing that it allows for excessive interpretive freedom.

There is no direct political confrontation, but critics point to a systemic failure to incorporate ecological data into decision-making processes, which led to the conflict that flared up late last year. They also criticize the rushed approach to preparing crucial legislation (the Climate Law), warning against a "rush job" mentality.
