Social issues are confined to expressions of general goodwill and New Year's greetings, which emphasize positive and uplifting thoughts. Specific socio-political topics are not addressed.

The social issue under discussion is social conditionality concerning occupational safety and the working environment. While the objective of workplace safety is not directly criticized, there is strong opposition to its implementation mechanism, which creates inequality and unfairly penalizes producers by increasing their responsibilities.

Regarding social issues, emphasis is placed on ensuring people's sense of security and the accessibility of justice in the regions. The physical presence of courthouses is considered a socially and security-politically important indicator.

The discussion of social problems is linked to economic consequences, emphasizing that harming business activity in Ida-Virumaa generates social changes and issues that affect local employment. Direct standpoints on classical social issues (e.g., education, immigration) were not presented.

Among the social issues raised, emphasis is placed on the negative impact of wind farms on the health and living environment of local residents. There is particular concern regarding out-migration from border areas, which poses a direct threat to national defense and the preservation of rural settlement patterns. The health and quality of life of people in border regions are directly linked to national security.

The central social theme is education reform, highlighting the potential for social disadvantages to arise when individuals who are unwilling to learn are compelled to attend school. He/She addresses the principle of lifelong learning, supporting the opportunity for self-improvement, but notes the need to restrict what is termed "parasitic learning."

The socio-political focus is on child safety and protecting children from abusers. There is a demand for a lifetime ban on pedophiles working with children, and it is emphasized that children of all ages must grow up in a safe environment. The speaker is strongly opposed to replacing the word "ban" with the word "restriction," seeing this change as a threat to the security of childcare institutions.

The only social problem mentioned is the potential for social tensions to arise in the region if the matter concerning Tartu Agro's lands is resolved ambiguously or unfairly. There is also a reference to the possible involvement of the Ministry of Social Affairs in mitigating these tensions.
