The priority involves amending the regulation governing salary support for kindergarten teachers and strengthening the rules concerning teachers' rights. Furthermore, the need for clear roles between the state and local governments is also being emphasized.

The legislative focus is directed towards improving education funding, by submitting an inquiry regarding salary subsidies for kindergarten teachers. He/She demands changes to the basis for calculating teachers' salaries, in order to reduce the link to the number of students and take into account the specific characteristics of sparsely populated areas. Furthermore, he/she supports establishing additional parliamentary oversight of defense expenditures and is investigating the impact of the EU Batteries Directive on Estonian practice.

The Representative is an active initiator of parliamentary inquiries and a critical assessor of proposed bills. Their legislative priorities include the analysis of education and regional policy measures, the elimination of bureaucratic hurdles in sports legislation, and opposition to the reform of the judicial administration model, arguing that it would remove parliamentary oversight of regional aspects.

The Speaker has focused his legislative efforts on two major topics: amending the Constitution to limit the voting rights of citizens from aggressor states in local elections, and pushing forward the Sports Act. Furthermore, he is interested in harmonizing the provisions of the Critical Infrastructure Protection Act with the legislation of neighboring countries.
