The support for the draft legislation extending the mandates of the international military operations (Inherent Resolve in Iraq and NATO Mission Iraq) is strong and clear. The political position is value-based, emphasizing the ensuring of Estonia's security through allied relations and the role of a reliable partner alongside the United States, the United Kingdom, and France. It is stressed that Estonian soldiers always fight for Estonian interests, not as mercenaries.
