The primary legislative focus is next year's state budget and the security tax bill, which the speaker strongly supports. The objective is to ensure long-range combat capability and comprehensive national defense by allocating 5.6 billion euros for defense spending over four years, plus an additional 1.6 billion euros.

The legislative focus is currently on the draft resolutions concerning the extension of the term of use of the defense forces in international missions in Iraq (up to 110 servicemen in Operation Inherent Resolve and up to 3 on the NATO mission). The speaker supports and is the rapporteur for these drafts, focusing on concluding the proceedings and submitting the bills for the final vote, in accordance with the Riigikogu Rules of Procedure and Internal Rules Act.
