The legislative focus is on the draft amendment to the Sports Act (518 SE) and the draft Song and Dance Celebration Act (598 SE), for both of which I am serving as the rapporteur for the lead committee. The objective is to modernize the regulations, ensure safety in sports, and strike a balance between supporting cultural tradition and creative freedom. Seven committee-initiated amendments were submitted regarding the draft Sports Act.

The legislative priority is the creation of a new, innovative funding model for the cultural and sports sectors, one that would involve private sector capital and establish the necessary conditions for growth. This includes exploring options for restructuring the gambling tax and leveraging corporate donations, with the aim of attracting an additional 10–50 million euros annually to the sector.

The legislative priority is the establishment of mechanisms for attracting private funding to finance culture and sports, mechanisms which require state leverage to be activated. The speaker stresses that this marks the first time sport has been addressed in the Riigikogu (Parliament) as a nationally important issue, and the hope is to find solutions that transcend party lines.

The goal of the draft bill was to set the minimum rate for the school lunch subsidy at 2 euros. The speaker's role was to convey the committee's proposal to reject the bill.

The legislative focus is on Draft Bill 319, initiated by the faction of the Conservative People's Party of Estonia, concerning the amendment of Section 27 of the Preschool Institutions Act. The goal was to reduce the portion covered by parents from 20% to 10%. The committee decided, with 7 votes in favor and 3 votes against, to propose rejecting the draft bill.

The main legislative priority is ensuring support for and voting in favor of the draft bill regarding the extension of the Estonian National Opera. The speaker is a strong champion and supporter of this cultural infrastructure project, having actively addressed the matter in the Culture Committee.

The legislative focus is aimed at establishing government-provided incentives that would enable businesses to realize the investment potential allowed under current law within the culture and sports sectors. The objective is to stimulate the economic development of these sectors.

The main political priority is concluding a long-term Education Agreement that would encompass salary growth, working conditions, and a career model. The speaker is a proponent of systemic reform that would address educational issues holistically. The government's success in finding additional funding for teachers' salary increases is also acknowledged.

The legislative focus is on backing a comprehensive education reform that would involve extending the compulsory school age and significantly boosting the appeal of the vocational training system. The objective is to establish vocational education as a genuinely competitive alternative, one that crucially doesn't cut off future routes to higher education. The speaker is a staunch advocate for this reform.

The primary legislative focus is the criticism of the draft bill concerning the funding of the Cultural Endowment (Kultuurkapital) and promoting the creation of alternative funding mechanisms. The goal is to establish the optimal financial mechanism for funding culture and sport by involving private capital, for which a calculator for the potential of private capital involvement is being developed. The speaker is a critical opponent of the current draft bill and the initiator of new solutions.

The objective is to establish a stable foundation for the future of teachers and the development of the school network, actively supporting the execution of the Minister of Education's plan.
