The confrontation is aimed at colleagues who are making claims about widespread outrage among the business community, and at the Social Democrats, whose motives he/she is questioning. The criticism is primarily fact-based and procedural, demanding that the opponents disclose the sources of their claims or pointing to the Chancellor of Justice's opposing stance.

The main targets of criticism are the government coalition and its ministers for ineffective regulation, the stalling of development plans, and the insufficient protection of state interests. Separate criticism is directed at the Competition Authority's communication for its lack of transparency and bias regarding the analysis of the pharmacy reform. The criticism is aimed at the poor quality of political decisions and procedures, not at individuals.
