Among social issues, climate anxiety is addressed; it is viewed as a justified and legitimate feeling, often compared to the fear of war. In terms of legislation, emphasis is placed on establishing the principle of intergenerational justice. Furthermore, the failure to address climate policy is linked to a direct security threat, stemming from the loss of society’s adequate capacity to respond.
