Economic perspectives support a strong role for the state and local governments in financing and providing social services, in order to reduce costs for private individuals. Preference is given to local governments providing the services themselves or purchasing services through public tenders, thereby avoiding excessive dependence on private enterprise.

Supports social protection and the redistribution of resources to alleviate poverty among the elderly, stressing that the poverty risk for older people in Estonia is the highest in the European Union. It opposes cuts in the social sector and advocates for the continuation of pension indexing, considering the social and healthcare sectors to be underfunded.
