Social issues are addressed through the lens of accessibility to personalized state services (the 'personal state') and the psychological aspect. Emphasis is placed on the state taking on the bulk of the work so that applying for benefits is neither embarrassing nor difficult for citizens, which demonstrates a concern for citizen welfare and the user-friendliness of these services.

The social sector focuses on the impact of the decline in living standards on public health and employment. It is emphasized that financial loss forces sick people to work, which in turn infects others, ultimately reducing the number of people at work and damaging the economy.
