The main legislative priorities include the Research, Development and Innovation Organisation Act (TAIKS), which the entity strongly supports and promotes. Also in focus are amendments to the Basic and Upper Secondary Schools Act, particularly concerning the certification of school principals and support for teachers lacking formal qualifications. Furthermore, legislation regarding nationally important cultural objects (the extension of the Estonia Theatre building) and the composition of the ERR (Estonian Public Broadcasting) Council is crucial.

The legislative focus is on making the education system more flexible, supporting the raising of the compulsory education age to 18 and the statutory recognition of micro-qualifications. He/She is also actively involved in processing the draft legislation concerning the removal of students from school rolls (Ukrainian children). As the rapporteur for the Culture Committee, the speaker supports and processes bills initiated by the government.
