The primary legislative focus is supporting an amendment to the Hunting Act that grants the Environmental Board the right to organize hunting, even during the regular hunting season, for the culling of nuisance animals. Additionally, political guidance is required from the Minister of the Interior to improve the discretion exercised when revoking firearms permits, in order to avoid disproportionate punishment.
