The legislative focus is aimed at improving security and crisis preparedness, including the draft bill for withdrawing from the Ottawa Convention and terminating the activities of the Moscow Church in Estonia. He/She is an active proponent of amending the Emergency Situation Act to ensure shelters, safe rooms, and a modern threat notification system (EE-ALARM). He/She also supports the swift handling of the draft amendments to the Civil Crisis and National Defence Act and the Police and Border Guard Act.

The main legislative priorities are strengthening national defense and comprehensive security (e.g., amendments to the Defence League Act, creating the necessary conditions for conducting exercises). Focus is placed on streamlining the transposition of EU law and reducing bureaucracy (the work of ELAK). It supports the extension of mandates for foreign missions (Inherent Resolve, NATO in Iraq).
