Economic views are strongly opposed to tax hikes, stressing that the state cannot tax itself into prosperity and that taxation undermines competitiveness. Support is given to fostering economic growth through the promotion of domestic entrepreneurship, the reduction of bureaucracy, and the fight against corruption. Preference is given to the interests of business and fiscal discipline, while criticizing the expansion of the state’s bureaucratic machine.
