The legislative focus is on streamlining the environmental permit system, digitizing the waste sector, and maintaining the obligation for sustainability reports. He/She is an active proponent of draft legislation and a committee rapporteur, concentrating on procedural decisions and presenting technical amendments. He/She supports the Rail Baltic project as a component of green and sustainable development.

The legislative focus is on climate and environmental laws, supporting the draft amendment to the Water Act (water reuse) and the drafting of the Climate-Resilient Economy Act (establishing a framework). He/She has initiated the draft bill to lower the voting age for European Parliament elections. As the rapporteur for the Environment Committee, he/she acts as a procedural leader, ensuring the proper processing of draft legislation (such as the waste reform package and amendments to the Earth's Crust Act) and rejecting unsubstantiated bills.
