The legislative focus is on critically supporting and clarifying the implementation plans and legal amendments related to the existing public transport reform. The priority is to ensure that the feeder lines, which are set to become local lines under the law, do not automatically become the financial responsibility of local municipalities (LGUs), as they lack the capacity to fund them. The speaker acts as a critical supporter of the reform and an initiator of improvements.
