The focus is predominantly on national themes (such as Estonian children participating in sports, highways, and waterways) and systemic problems (the education system, funding). As an example of regional focus, the issue of producing artificial snow for the Pirita ski track is highlighted, which illustrates the impact of bureaucracy on local sports activities.

The focus is clearly international and regional, concentrating on the security of the Baltic Sea, the Gulf of Finland, and the Danish Straits. Attention is directed towards cooperation with the Baltic Sea countries.
