The political platform is directed against the marginalization of Estonian foreign policy, demanding consultation with the leading countries of Europe and the world, rather than solely with immediate neighbors. Domestically, there is strong opposition to environmentally hazardous industrial processes, particularly the sulfuric acid treatment of phosphorite, which produces carcinogenic waste. This represents a strongly value-based approach that places the nation’s reputation and environmental security first.
