The legislative priority is the alignment of financial regulation (specifically derivatives and repo transactions) with international standards, as well as addressing issues of budget transparency (the revenue classifier). He/She/It is also dealing with the appointment of members to the Council of the Bank of Estonia and is actively supporting the rejection of opposition tax bills (the bank tax, fuel excise duty).

The main legislative focus areas are the modernization of tax laws (including the regulatory framework for investment accounts, covered bonds, and crypto assets), the transposition of European Union law, and improving the transparency of the budget process. He/She is actively involved in drafting and processing amendments, particularly those aimed at making the taxation of financial assets more flexible. He/She is a strong opponent of the government-initiated bank tax bill.
