Third reading of the Draft Act amending the Information Society Services Act and the Penal Code (224 SE)

The third reading of Draft Act 224, initiated by the Government of the Republic, concerning the amendment of the Information Society Service Act and the Penal Code, was on the agenda. After the agenda item was opened, debates were initiated, which were reserved for the representatives of the parliamentary groups. Since no requests to speak were submitted, the debates were immediately closed. The leading committee proposed holding the final vote on the draft act. Members of the Riigikogu participated in the final vote, where the draft act received widespread support. The voting results were as follows: 63 members voted in favor, 1 member was against, and there were no abstentions. Thus, Draft Act 224 was adopted as law.
